I see that your fuse block is doubled up. Looks like someone has already tried to deal with the overloading of circuits that exists with the factory wiring.

Is that a windshield washer? Got to be one of the rarest options if it is!
yes that is a windshield washer reservoir, has pump and line on it, had no idea that is was rare

-wiring was very hacked up, no surprise that the fuse block had been changed, other areas were "interesting" to say the least, I'm guessing that Griffith didn't use house-hold style wire nuts throughout the car, must have been 30 or so on this one

Wire nuts??? Are they Lucas? Lol. Actually, Lucas bullet connectors are what should be in there. You might find it difficult to pull some of the bullet connectors apart since they've been sitting for a long time.

I originally doubled up the Lucas fuse block in my car, to help isolate more of the systems, but eventually went with a modern blade type box with 8 fuses plus added 3 relays to properly lessen the load on the wiring, all hidden under the dash on the passenger side.

I also put a master battery kill switch under the dash on the drivers side, just in case, also nicely hidden so that everything looks stock.

FWIW, if you plan to use the original type wire harness and connectors, it will work just fine, as long as you balance the load and add relays where needed.

Anyone got contact info for the people who rebuild SRF steering racks? I think it is time for me to do it as part of my winter rebuild.
